AUFIT Residential Air Conditioner Warranty Policy (Arab Republic of Egypt)
This warranty policy is issued by AOKESI CLOUD ELECTRIC LLC (the “Company”), the official sales and after-sales service company of AUFIT air conditioners in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This policy applies only within the Arab Republic of Egypt and covers AUFIT residential split-type air conditioners sold and installed by AOKESI CLOUD ELECTRIC LLC.
01. Warranty Duration
AUFIT Residential Wall-Mounted Split Type Air Conditioner Units sold and installed within the Arab Republic of Egypt are covered under a 5-year comprehensive warranty for parts and components, starting from the purchase date stated on the invoice, or installation date stated on installation report (whichever comes first).
The compressor carries an additional 5-year extended warranty after the 5-year comprehensive warranty of the unit, providing a total of 10 years of coverage from the original purchase or installation date, whichever comes first.
During the first five (5) years, both compressor replacement and related labor are free of charge. During the subsequent five (5) years (Year 6 to Year 10), the compressor component remains free of charge, but labor, refrigerant, and transportation costs shall be borne by the user.
Proof of Purchase:
Users are required to retain their original purchase invoice and warranty card. Loss of purchase proof may affect warranty entitlement.
02. Coverage Scope
Included Components (5 Years): Compressor, fans, indoor/outdoor PCBs, sensors, fan motors, evaporator coil, condenser coil, and other major core components.
2.2 Categories of Data Collected: We collect and process the following data categories for the specific purposes outlined below. Please note that if you decline to provide the requested personal data, we may be unable to deliver the corresponding services or respond to your inquiries.
Excluded Items: Consumables such as air filters, remote control batteries, drain hoses, and cosmetic damages (scratches, fading, and bumps etc.) not caused by manufacturing defects.
03. Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty shall be rendered void or shall not apply in the following cases:
(1)Consumables & Cosmetic Damage:
Consumables such as air filters, remote control batteries, and external drain hoses.
Cosmetic damages including scratches, fading, rusting, or dents on the cabinet or panels not caused by manufacturing defects.
(2)Physical Damage & Improper Usage:
Damage caused by external causes such as mishandling, accidents, misuse, or weather-related incidents; Using the product beyond its rated capacity or in unsuitable environments.
Damages caused by operation under abnormal voltage or power surges without proper protection (e.g., lack of a voltage regulator).
(3)Unauthorized Intervention:
Unauthorized disassembly or repair: unapproved personnel repair, modify, or disassemble the product.
Tampering: the product serial number, nameplate, or warranty seal is damaged, altered, or lost.
(4)Severe Incidents & Special Environments:
Material Incident: Damage resulting from fire, electrical burn, flooding, explosion, or similar incidents.
Non-standard installation: Products modified or relocated for use in non-standard environments (e.g., RVs, caravans, boats, or mobile containers).
(5)Fire Damage and Compensation:
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any direct or indirect damage, property loss, or claims arising from fire, electrical short circuits, or other external causes. Such situations fall outside the scope of the product warranty and should be resolved by the user through insurance claims or other legal channels.
04. Installation Conditions:
Proper installation is a prerequisite for warranty validity.
(1)Authorized Installation:
Installation must be performed by Company-authorized service providers, certified dealers, or professional technicians approved by Company. It is strictly prohibited for users to hire unverified third-party installers. Any failure, malfunction, or damage caused by non-authorized installation will void the product warranty.
(2)Installation Compliance:
All installations must strictly follow Company technical standards, including but not limited to proper vacuuming, correct piping length, and secure electrical connections.
(3)Electrical Safety Requirements:
The air conditioner is designed for a standard power supply of 220V ±10% (50Hz) in compliance with the local electrical standards of the Arab Republic of Egypt. In areas with unstable power grids, users are strongly advised to install a voltage regulator of appropriate capacity. Damages caused by voltage fluctuations, phase loss, or failure to use a voltage regulator are not covered under warranty.
05. Maintenance Requirements
(1)Regular Servicing:
To ensure optimal performance and longevity, annual maintenance by Company-authorized service providers or certified technicians is required at least once per year.
(2)Filter Cleaning:
Users are responsible for regular filter cleaning. Malfunctions or decreased cooling capacity caused by neglected filter maintenance (e.g., evaporator freezing, airflow blockage) are excluded from the warranty.
(3)Blocked Drain Lines:
Water leakage or property damage caused by clogged drain lines due to environmental dust or lack of cleaning is not covered under warranty.
06. Repair and Replacement Term
(1)Component Service:
AUFIT may repair or replace failed components with new or equivalent parts at its discretion.
(2)Out-of-Warranty Repairs:
For repairs conducted after the warranty period, replaced parts shall carry a 3-month (90-day) limited warranty starting from the replacement date. Labor, transportation, and diagnostic costs for out-of-warranty services shall be borne by the user.
07. Warranty Rules Without Proof of Purchase
(1)Verification Priority:
In the absence of a valid purchase invoice or installation record, the warranty start date shall be automatically determined based on the manufacturing date recorded in the Company system.
(2)Service Classification:
If the system determines the unit is beyond its warranty life based on the manufacturing date, all maintenance and repairs will be handled as paid service (including parts and labor costs).
Policy Updates
The Company reserves the right to update or adjust the warranty policies in accordance with applicable laws and market conditions of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any such updates shall not adversely affect the warranty rights of products already sold, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Updated terms will be made available through appropriate channels.
